The objective was to organize the Oulipo decade at the center, 20 years after the first meeting at which a group of literary enthusiasts, gathered first under the name of Séminaire de Littérature Expérimentale (Sélitex) and then as Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle (Oulipo), had met.In the exchanges that followed, the organization became more complex until its cancellation, due to differences between the conception of the organization of the colloquia in that cultural center and the operating modes of the literary group.An archival work that reviewed both the minutes of the group's meetings in the digitized Oulipo Fund at the National Library of France and the correspondence between Heurgon and Bens preserved in the Centre Culturel International de Cerisy Fund, at the Institut pour la Mémoire de l'Edition Contemporainne (IMEC), at the Abbey of Ardennes (Normandy), allows us to understand the real reasons why the colloquium was cancelled and to contrast them with the ways the group proclaimed as its form of organization and operating. En agosto de 1981, la entonces directora del Centre Culturel International de Cerisy-la-Salle y el escritor Jacques Bens intercambian correspondencia. El objetivo es organizar en el centro la décade Oulipo, cuando se cumplían 20 años de la primera reunión en la que un grupo de entusiastas de la literatura, congregados primero bajo el nombre de Séminaire de Littérature Expérimentale (Sélitex) y, luego, de Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle (Oulipo), se habían reunido.En los intercambios que siguen, la organización se complejiza hasta su cancelación, por diferencias entre la concepción de la organización de los coloquios en ese centro cultural y los modos de operar del grupo literario.Un trabajo de archivo que revisó tanto las actas de las reuniones del grupo en el Fondo digitalizado del Oulipo, en la Biblioteca Nacional de Francia, como la correspondencia entre Heurgon y Bens, conservada en el Fondo del Centre Culturel International de Cerisy, en el Institut pour la Mémoire de l’Edition Contemporainne (IMEC), en la Abadía de Ardennes (Normandía), permite comprender las verdaderas causas por las que el coloquio fue anulado y contrastarlas con los modos que el grupo proclamaba como su forma de organización y funcionamiento.
