| Sumario: | This article analyzes the participation of Peronism in all the national and local (non-municipal) elections that took place in three subnational spaces during classical Peronism (1946-1955): the national territories of Chaco, La Pampa and Misiones, converted into the provinces of Presidente Perón, Eva Perón and Misiones, respectively. Specifically, the results achieved in each of the elections produced between 1951 and 1955 are analyzed, as well as the division of candidacies between the masculine, feminine and trade-union branches of these subnational Peronisms.Although during the first two presidencies of Juan Perón all the national territories were provincialized, only in the three analyzed here was the transition to autonomous provinces completed, sanctioning their own Constitution and establishing local authorities. Keywords:national territories; new provinces; elections; classic peronism; Peronist Movement |
