Sumario:The objective of the work is to investigate the questioning practices of future History teachers. The intention is to analyze how the questions become relevant in the initial teaching practices to contribute to the construction of the temporal and spatial awareness typical of historically thinking. The article arises from doctoral research on the role of questions in the construction of historical thinking during the initial training of teachers in History. On this occasion we will focus on a specific component: how the work on temporal and spatial coordinates in classes takes shape from the questioning practices develop by future History teachers. For the analysis we use plans, interviews, observation protocols and class recordings, as sources of information collected during the ongoing investigation.
