The fundamental problem is abaout the sistematic way that the student persists in responding the teachings with a limitate comprehension of the instructions. Because of this, they have great difficulty in their own expression, which is a basic tool for their practices as students first and as teachers later. The most importants values that have been choosen to observe in this study are those that the classical Theory of Value classified as superiors or spirituals: the aesthetics, logicals and ethicals values, conside- ring that the last one have a direct effect over the first ones. This selection is not casual, since we consider that the human being should be looked at, from a mo- nistic and integral point of view. Thus this values summarize: knowing how to think, the feeling directed to the common good and the motor expression from the beauty. These dimensions are capable to guide the future teacher to a humanistic conception of their peda- gogical labor. El derrotero de esta tesis tiende a evidenciar el estado de los valores más destacables en la carrera del profesor universitario de Educación Física de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, trabajándose en general con datos relevantes de los egresados en ejercicio y en particular con los del alumnado femenino de la Asignatura Gimnasia II. El problema fundamental es la manera sistemática en que el estudiante persiste en responder a las enseñanzas con una limitada comprensión en las consignas. De ello se deriva naturalmente una gran dificultad en su propia expresión, herramienta básica para el ejercicio como discente primero y como docente después. Los valores seleccionados para este estudio son aquellos que la Teoría de los Valores clásica clasifica como superiores o espirituales: los valores estéticos, los lógicos y los éticos, considerando la directa inci- dencia de los últimos sobre los dos primeros. Esta selección no es casual, en tanto es de considerar que el ser humano debiera ser mirado desde una concepción monista e integral. Así, estos valores sintetizan: el saber pensar, el sentir dirigido al bien común y la expresión motriz desde lo bello. Dimensiones éstas capaces de orientar la labor pedagógica del futuro docente hacia una concepción humanista.
