Sumario:Sport, in its conception and current hegemonic manifestations, excludes millions of people from practicing sports and its benefits. The conceptual differentiation in the definition of sport and the pedagogical practices necessary to reverse this discriminatory situation constitute the central core of the article. To strengthen this sense, the concept of inclusion is critically analyzed from the perspective of living culture and the needs of belonging and social bonding, which the dominant sports system simplifies by offering its products with a more massive format, without considering the practices and own ways of each group to carry them out, thus avoiding their emancipation.
