The proposed analysis is divided into three sections. First, I expose some fundamental concepts about the characterization of Postmodernity that account for the influence of Jameson’s thinking. Second, I resume to some reflections about its limitations, according to the critical view of specialists and the changes that have recently happened in our context. Third, I try to outline some hypotheses and lines of action in the field of literary educa-tion,considering the connections with ludic components and transmedia. En el presente trabajo se pretende explorar algunos conceptos fundamentales del pensamiento de Jameson, a fin de esbozar orientaciones para la comprensión de nuestro presente y las posibilidades que puede proyectar en la Didáctica de la Literatura. El recorrido propuesto se articula en tres tramos. En primer lugar, se expone algunos conceptos fundamentales en torno a la caracterización de la posmodernidad que dan cuenta de la potencia del pensamiento de Jameson. En segundo lugar, se retoma algunas reflexiones acerca de sus limitaciones, de acuerdo con la mirada crítica de especialistas y los cambios acontecidos recientemente en nuestro contexto.
