These contributions have been conducted by researchers from fields very different. The investigation that we presented tries to respond to the need for a model of research, in this case, we cater to one of the fields of the teaching of history and social sciences. It is the initial training of teachers to the teaching of history. We focus on learning for the teaching of the recent history/this (HRP). Propose from the construction of theoretical models, conceptual, made by the teaching of history, as a product of our discipline, essential for a coherent education. Use the concept of social representations, because we feel very suitable to our needs and to the object of the investigation. Look, thus, social representations of the stu-dents in relation to their lessons and experiences around the HRP. Use also in this travel stories of life to observe as apply these representations to this type of historical narratives. La investigación en la didáctica de la historia se ha visto incre- mentada en los últimos años con una gran diversidad de aportaciones. Estas aportaciones han sido realizadas por investigadores de campos muy diversos. La investigación que presentamos intenta responder a la necesidad de un modelo de investigación, en este caso, atendemos a uno de los campos propios de la didáctica de la historia y de las ciencias sociales. Se trata de la formación inicial del profesorado para la enseñanza de la historia. Nos centramos en los aprendizajes para la enseñanza de la historia reciente/presente (HRP). Proponemos partir de la construcción de modelos teóricos, conceptuales, realizados por la propia didáctica de la historia, como producto propio de nuestra disciplina, indis- pensable para una enseñanza coherente. Utilizamos el concepto de las representaciones sociales, porque nos parece muy adecuado a nuestras necesidades y al objeto de la investigación. Analizamos, así, las representaciones sociales de los estudiantes en relación a sus aprendizajes y experiencias entorno a la HRP. Utilizamos también en este recorrido relatos de vida para observar como aplican estas representaciones a este tipo de narraciones históricas.
