It covers then the classical dimension of confronting historiographicalreferencewithinterpersonaldimensionthatthe articulation between an author/teacher and a classroom/teacher implies, as well as this of an author trying to teach history and those who the textbook is addressed: students. Textbook becomes then the crossroad of the historiography passage to the textbook, for also in the proposal of a way of teaching history, and for students, in the practical crystallization of a 'safety' knowledge. The main thesis of this article points to the articulation of these components as a way to goal a deeper understanding of the matter. Este trabajo propone una serie de herramientas de análisis apropiadas para una lectura de los manuales de historia abordando distintos aspectos de la cuestión. Superpone así la dimensión clásica del cotejo con la historiografía de referencia con las dimensiones interpersonales que implica el juego entre un autor/profesor y un profesor de aula, así como la de un autor que intenta enseñar historia y los destinatarios principales del manual: los alumnos. El manual se convierte así en la encrucijada del pasaje de la historiografía al libro de texto, pero también en la proposición de una manera de enseñar historia, y para los alumnos en la cristalización práctica del saber 'seguro'. La tesis principal del artículo apunta a la conjugación de estos factores como forma de aspirar a una comprensión más cabal del asunto.
