| Sumario: | This article airns at retlecting about the Centenary ofthe Russian Revolution, on the originality ofthis event and · its ruptured character in the conternporary world. Located in the political and ideological context of Europe in between world wars, the Revolution rnanifested itself as a carrier of hopes and utopías: liberation and equality of man in order to carry out the self-rnanagernent of the new socialist society. The analysis of the historical process allows us to understand and rethink the dynarnisrn and lirnits of these original ideas and the reasons that influenced the diversion frorn the original project. The core problem irnplied by this utopía: the balance between freedom and equality still rernains unanswered in our current society. |
