Sumario:Teaching residency practices are in themselves a complex, singular and sometimes traumatic period in the professional training of a future History teacher. The interventions developed by the practitioners are influenced by their school biography and initial teacher training, by the traditions associated with the teaching of school history (disciplinary code), by their conceptions about the meaning of the teaching of History and by the expectations of the teachers who supervise their practices. The objective of this work is to survey the research that has taken as an object of analysis the residency in History in Argentina, with the purpose of realizing a state of the question that allows to notice which aspects have been addressed and which are not of this key stage of the formation of a History teacher.
