| Sumario: | The mothers and fathers of adolescents are the pillar of socio-affective learning and agents of socialization of these, help to favor the development of protective factors such as a future profession in planning activities with care, because in the stage adolescents can be seen as vulnerable to engaging in antisocial behavior. Mothers and fathers are considered the first and most significant responsible for the education of their sons and daughters. The present study aims to analyze if there are significant differences in parenting styles, and the temporal perspective in young men and women from Ciudad Obregón high school. The research was cross-sectional, quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive, and significant differences were obtained in favoritism and rejection by the mother in men and women. Men perceived greater rejection by their mother, unlike women who perceived almost no rejection and it was found that men perceived greater favoritism by the mother. Likewise, the perception of support was positively correlated with propensity for the future. |
