Sumario:ABSTRACTThis article presents a state of art through research that has focused, from different perspectives, on digital and collaborative writing, understood as a multifaceted phenomenon with different edges and in which various aspects converge. For this reason, it is a complex research object that requires a bibliography review that considers this constitutive heterogeneity for present advances in the field. Considering this, the article goes from more general research to   the particularization of digital and collaborative writing. Thus, it begins by reviewing proposals that, from different disciplinary approaches, study the characteristics of language and communication in the current context; the second section looks at research focused on writing with digital technologies; the third section reviews research on collaborative writing without digital technologies. After this, in the fourth section, it is presented research on collaborative writing with digital technologies and, finally, as a result of the bibliographical overview, some aspects and questions are pointed out, to establish future directions for linguistic and discursive research.
