Sumario:The 2005 Argentine sovereign debt restructuring led by the Kirchner administration was technically, financially, legally and politically complex. In order to shed light on some of its aspects, this paper aims to present its results in a multiplicity of interrelated dimensions (economic-financial, contractual-legal and political-systemic), which had repercussions on the subsequent course of the debt and the international discussion on the financial architecture of debt restructuring.
