Sumario:The aim of this paper is to research the representations of pampean agricultural actors about the reform of the Law of Seeds. From a theoretical perspective that articulates Stuart Hall, Teun Van Dijk and Ruth Wodak contributions, we took as a corpus of analysis 42 interviews carried out between the years 2016 and 2018 in two Buenos Aires counties with very different agroecological characteristics: Ayacucho (predominantly livestock) and Baradero (predominantly agricultural). Specifically, we examine valuations and discursive strategies used by the interviewees when talking about the law and its possibility of reform, seeking to determine the level of appropriation that the actors have of the agribusiness discourse on seeds and knowledge property.
