Sumario:From the analysis of curricular experience developed in a matter of studying medicine at the Universidad Nacional del Comahue (UNCo,Argentina), promotes reflection on curricular integration of communication in medical training with general profile. Under a qualitative approach was performed first documentary analysis of curriculum materials and documents prepared by the chair. On appeal, structured interviews were conducted for teachers of the subject and implemented a self-administered questionnaire completed by students to explore their ideas about communication. The collection and analysis was carried out during 2007.A preliminary reading, to reveal that the introduction of communication in medical training promotes discussions about their professional identity and the concept of health from which to base their current and future practices.
