Sumario:This article shows the importance of education and human resources investment, source of income generation, economic growth and development. For this purpose, studies the Human Capital Theory and endogenous growth models, which consider the knowledge and human capital as determinants of economic growth in the long term and justify the state`s intervention due to the presence of externalities. The paper also discusses the theoretical and empirical relationship education - income by education levels and public and private sectors of the Comarca Viedma - Carmen de Patagones, based on data from the Household Survey provided by the INDEC.
