Sumario:This article presents findings of a research on the formation of political dispositions among students of a school for upper classes in the City of Buenos Aires, from a discipline perspective that converge cultural psychology and bourdeans studies and it deals with the field of research on youth and politics and on education of the upper classes. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the characteristics of the political socialization of fellow’s students, coming from the lower middle classes, in relation to their family and class trajectories, and in comparison with those of their high classmates. We present and analyze fragments of the interviews carried out, seeking to establish the intervention modalities of the family dimension in the specific formation of political dispositions and the transmission of family inheritances in cases of split trajectories.
