description The problems of industrialization has occupied a privileged place in discussions of the Argentine economic development, by virtue of its centrality and finding his unfinished character. This article reports the findings critical key industrial, agricultural export growth profile, developed by Alejandro Bunge, one of the first intellectuals exponents emphasized the need to transcend the primary export profile of the Argentina economy by diversifying its basket of tradable products on the world market, stressing the need for industrial development and moderating a form of economic and territorial development marked by regional asymmetries, illustrated in the famous metaphor of "fan country", centered on the pampas and the port city of Buenos Aires. As a conspicuous member of a conservative and nationalist current economic thinking, thoughts prelude bungeanas state transformations in economic intervention by installing a series of topics of economic thought in Argentina that have lasting resonance throughout the twentieth century: dependence on agro-pastoral economy, the need for industrial development, the issue of internal market, the problem of regional economies and territorial integration. In Bunge Argentina's image as a cornucopia would step looks that predicted a less idyllic outcome.
