Sumario:This work analyzes the data resulting from the research on the annals of the ANPOCS annual meetings, held between 1977 and 2016, available in the electronic collection of this institution. The analysis was guided by the following questions: What is the place of the debate about methodology of Social Sciences in these events? Who are the subjects that stimulated these debates? What is the proportionality of female and male authorship? The mixed quantitative and qualitative analysis was conceptually inspired by the debates about gender and the production of social knowledge. It is concluded that, although the male contingent is larger both in the authorship and in the positions of coordination, the female presence has gradually increased and focused on the consolidation of some themes in the agenda of the events in question.
