The hydrogen line spectrum of gaseous nebulae

The relative intensities of the hydrogen emission lines of homogeneous gaseous nebulae, ionized and excited by riative and collisional processes, have been calculated. The results define allowed and forbidden regions in the Balmer colour-colour plot different from those obtained assuming purely radi...

Sumario:The relative intensities of the hydrogen emission lines of homogeneous gaseous nebulae, ionized and excited by riative and collisional processes, have been calculated. The results define allowed and forbidden regions in the Balmer colour-colour plot different from those obtained assuming purely radiative or purely collisional excitation and ionization. A brief comparison with observational data is carried out.
