Secuencia de cópula o parada nupcial de la lagartija <i>Liolaemus tenuis</i> (Duméril y Bribon 1837) (Iguania: Liolaemidae) en el estero El Manzano, San José de Maipo, Chile

The copulation between a male and a female of the lizard Liolaemus tenuis was recorded during an exploration of the sclerophyllous forest of the central Chilean Andes. The behavior was described in six consecutive stages where the male comes close and bites the female firmly until the copula.
