Una excepcional nueva especie de Phymaturus de la precordillera de Chubut, Argentina (Liolaemidae, Iguania, Lacertilia, Reptilia)
A new morphologically peculiar taxon belonging to the genus Phymaturus, from a relatively high austral latitude, is described. Preliminary comments on relationships and differences between the new species and the species assembled into the two recognized groups of the genus, are given.
