Psychology in Argentina was able to develop a common ground with other fields of knowledge such as Medicine, taking into account its attempt to differ from other popular knowledges, considered harmful and non-scientific. This field of expertise can be framed in the process of disciplinarization of psychological knowledge and can be described as a tendency towards a social intervention.
