| Sumario: | The present article evaluates the compliance
to lithium carbonate by bipolar patients participating of group therapy at MAIHNA- Complementary
Studies Center of the University Hospital of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil. The
evaluation was done based on reported and validated questionnaires, which were adapted for the study. The patient's
behavior to psycho medicines and lithium were verified, and, the pharmacist's role during the treatment of
the bipolar disorder was also discussed. |
