| Sumario: | His work shows an approximation to the situation of women in the academic and research field at the Bolivian University and specifically at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. The situation of women's participation at the student and teaching levels has been studied. It analyzes the reasons for the low participation in positions of additional responsibility to the teaching load, seeking an analytical approach to the topics of: gender, higher education and processes of change and democracy in Bolivian education. Finally, we present the analysis and interpretation of the data, as a basis for the recommendations for a better perspective of women, as a professional, in the University of San Andrés. |
