Sumario:The concern about the evolution of the public education suggests new readings of the old humanistic and universal principles of the pedagogical thoughts. Reviewing the secular philosophy of the education of John Dewey provides a generous and interesting proposal of analysis of the teaching practices in artistic education. From that, we will analyze the comprehension of the common aspects —experiential and aesthetic— of men and women in relation to teaching situations that consider the experience as a situated reflection, understanding, at the same time, the pedagogic intervention as a politic and ethical act on the world.
