Sumario:This article originated from considering nodal aspects of the different pedagogical approaches in relation to the teaching of art. It is known that each approach deals with specific problems and particular purposes of a period of time. Among them, we will focus on the way of thinking the social and cultural role of the school and the treatment of art in educational institutions with the aim of addressing the transformations of the class as a historical construction, paying special attention to the direction of the visual arts.
