| Sumario: | The purpose of this paper is to present the lndex Utility and the lndex Based Projection of the HyperPro System. HyperPro is a hypertext tool that offers a way to handle two basic aspects: Constraint Logic Programming (CPL) documentation and development and text editing. For text editing it is based on the Thot system. A HyperPro program is a Thot document written in a report style. It is designed for logic programming but it can be adapted to other programming paradigms as well. HyperPro offers navigation and editing facilities, such indexes, document views and projections. It also offers document exportation. Projection is a mechanism for extracting and exporting relevant pieces of code according to specific criteria. Indexes are necessary to find the references and occurences of a relation in a document, i.c., where its predicate definition is found and where a relation is used in other programs or document versions and to translatc hypertexts links into paper references. |
