| Sumario: | Performing numerical simulations using the divergence cleaning technique, we characterize the plasma dynamics and the modes that propagate in magnetically structured media (i.e., with small values of β = Pg/PM and large magnetic Reynolds number). We show preliminary results that confirm others described by the coronal seismology, i.e. modes obtained using cylindrical geometry and the line tied condition.
This allows to adjust the numerical method to study the non–dissipative decay of fast modes in media of high Reynolds number. |
