Witten invariant and surgery diagrams : Notas de Matemática, 71
The calculation of the Witten invariant is done by mean of technics which combine mainly the theory of Temperley-Lieb algebras for evaluating diagrams and Dehn surgery on links. The treatment is essentially combinatorial and is applied to calculate the invariant associated to lens spaces.
