| Sumario: | I summarize here my contribution to the 62a Meeting of the Argentinian Astronomical Society. My presentation addressed the halo-galaxy connection and, in particular, the effect catted secondary halo bias, which refers to the secondary dependencies of halo clustering at fixed halo mass. In this paper, I focused on one of these secondary dependencies, the so-called halo spin bias, which corresponds to the contribution from halo spin. I show here a high signal-to-noise measurement of the effect, discuss some of the physical mechanisms associated with it, and propose a method to probe it with future observations based on the Sunyaev-Zel’dovich effect. |
