Sumario:Scinax tropicalia was recently described for the Atlantic Rainforest of northeastern Brazil, displaying a disjoined geographic distribution in the states of Bahia and Ceará. This report presents the first record of S. tropicalia for the Pernambuco Endemism Center, based on morphology, coloration and acoustic data, including new records from the states of Alagoas and Pernambuco, expanding the geographic distribution of the species in more than 800 km north from its type locality.
