Sumario:Photoelectric observations of the sort period eclipsing binary EZ Hya are presented. Precise light curves were constructed an eight times of minimum light were derived. A detailed period study shows that this system started decreasing its period in 1970. This may be interpreted as the beginning of a mass-transfer phase. EZ Hya is another interesting W UMa system showing rapid activity, of special interest for theories of evolution and structure of close binary systems. The complex version of this study will be published in the Astronomical Journal.
