| Sumario: | One of the first steps in open star cluster studies is members identification. For each star in the sample, researchers need to know the probability that it actually belongs to the cluster. In the project portrayed in this paper, the problem of membership calculation is approached from a Data Science perspective, and a solution is being designed and implemented as a Python software package named Opencluster. The aim is of this package to make star cluster exploratory analysis faster and easier for individual researchers. |
