Sumario:This article describes a model for the training of career practitioners in international contexts. This model uses an "active engagement" approach and has as its foundation the following factors: 1. Competence / Skill Based; 2. Experiential Learning; 3. Strength Challenge; 4. Critical Reflection; 5. Dynamic Interventions and Processes; and 6. Imbedded Learning and Innovation. There also is discussion of other practical training issues.
