Energy and mass loss by collapse and violent relaxation in systems of particles
A global model for the evolution of a dynamical system going through violent relaxation is presented. The model applies to non-homologous non-spherical density distributions and allows the estimate of the energy - and mass-losses due to escapes after collapse.
