| Sumario: | Liolaemus loboi Abdala, 2003 is a rare liolaemid lizard originally described from the border between Neuquén and Río Negro Provinces in Patagonia Argentina. Only a few specimens of this species exist in museums, and all are from the type locality near Bariloche. Here, we present two new records that result in a significant extension of the known distribution of the species. In addition, we comment on the habitat of Liolaemus loboi, its phylogenetic relationships, and selected aspects of its natural history. |
