| Sumario: | With this article aims at analyzing the actions of the 19 municipalities of the Campinas-SP Metropolitan Region to attract companies based of the Viracopos International Airport - Brazil. From the theoretical framework of Regional Economics, the analytical method was used to examine the economic relations between Viracopos and municipalities of the RMC. And the objective method was used to analyze the master plans of these municipalities, in order to understand how the airport and regional problems were inserted into the urban dynamics of each municipality. Moreover, recovered the dynamics of contemporary economics, organized in global networks of innovation, production and commercialization of goods. In this economy, companies opt for municipalities that are inserted into metropolitan regions due to greater offer of goods, services and infrastructure, especially transport. The text verified that a greater part of the municipalities try, isolatedly, to take to their individual advantage from the benefits of the Viracopos International Airport, without a Metropolitan Development Plan to reorder the urban dynamics of RMC. |
