Sumario:The following text contains a Leibniz’s judgment about Caspar Rödeke`s project for a universal language, which was presented to the King of Prusia in 1708, in order to obtain financial support for its construction and putting in work. The request was remitted to the Berlin Real Society of Sciences for the appraisal of its feasibility. After some meetings, Leibniz, as the president of the commission, wrote a judgment that sums up the main considerations about the benefits and difficulties that bring up the construction and practical introduction not only of the language proposed by Rödeke, but also of every rational language in general.
