Sumario:This article analyses the space (re) organization in themunicipality of Guaíra – PR after the formation of Itaipu Lakewith consequent immersions of the “Sete Quedas”. Due tothe socio-environmental impact caused by the flood, a newphase of development is going to be implemented in Guaírabased on the Directory Plans of 1980 and 1992, reorganizingthe geographic area of Guaíra in a corollary way.
