Sumario:The article analyzes the emergence of a new rhetoric before the growth of political participation in Latin America, result of the globalization and integration processes in time of world crisis.From the political approach and Latin American economic given the coverage of foreign media (website and the British magazine The Economist and site and French magazine L’Express), I seek to analyze the clip shows aspects of how is the construction of image of the two main political leaders of Latin America, in order to verify the possibility of building a dichotomous image of the villain and the good guy.The investigation of the friendly relationship between these two leaders contextualised as opposed by the media, want to reveal narrative strategies that have at the center justify and condemn certain political positions and consequently become a significant point in shaping the country’s cultural image of these leaders face the international community.
