Sumario:This article analyzes practices intended to improve the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents through the systematization of a project promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights in rural and peri-urban areas in Peru, as well as ethnographic research with youth-promoters who participated in this project. The study discusses the theories of change underlying these practices, their conditions of possibility, potentialities, and limitations. Using an approach based on the social determinants of health in the daily life of adolescents, a reevaluation is proposed of participative approaches and the state-civil society relationship with respect to the responsibility and implementation of so-called good practices in sexual and reproductive health.
