| Sumario: | The following article explores nuances of the current state of journalism in Cuba; it also studies facts and other related issues that have led to its decay, it compares current and past experiences, analyzes the soviet-type press, and understands its subordinate role to the political structure. In addition, this article provides arguments to generate legal boundaries for practicing journalism in Cuba. And so it presents some factors that need to be considered in such a plan. Finally, this articlewelcomes alternative ways of doing business in a government-dominated media. |
