| Sumario: | The Latin American dependent capitalism expresses itself in a particular place, namely in a space. The center-periphery perspective, coined by Raul Prebisch, has highlighted some problems of the spatial dimension or spatiality, but little has been elaborated about it. By using a Marxist approach, this paper proposes a social analysis from the spatial perspective in order to make new theoretical andmethodological contributions to undermine disciplinary obstacles in the field of social science, especially in Latin American studies. This spatial analysis would be complementary to Ruy Mauro Marini´s sub-imperialism, which explains Brazil´s dependent capitalism at its upper stage. |
