| Sumario: | In this paper, it is recovered some voices and practices of slaves and freedmen of the Government of Cuyo (Argentina) concerning conceptions and individual and collective initiatives for civil liberty during the cycle of wars of revolution and independence. They were originated from a set of case files which can let appreciate the intersection of opportunity and operated changes in the regulatory and institutional system, and the political agency of subaltern sectors, subject to the new patriotic and revolutionary legitimacy. |
