Sumario:The purpose of this paper is to point out to some theoretical keys related to the techno-social rationality of the Knowledge Society. It is possible to say, in sociological terms, that our societies are changing from abstraction and split of information to a new settlement of the analogical over the digital ground. The challenge is not the study of technological influences over society, but the cultural and social forms of communication that emerge from the use of ICTs. The ideas are linked to the analysis of social complexity and informational theory, especially the quality of the environment that surrounds materiality that gives “support” to information. In other words, we are approaching the ground of symbolic structure, whose main axes are the use, circulation and experimentation with information.
