Sumario:This is a review of how the economic and hegemonic thinking in the academic centers of the developed countries comprises the participation and inclusión of the Latin American countries in the globalizing economy. The article proposes a review of the economic procedures followed by the global market in the incorporation process of the Latin American economies, as well as a review of the consequences of the undiscriminating way in which national economies open to the international capital. Moreover, the possibilities of development that the modern capitalism sets forth from the unión of technology and information with the unequal and inequitable functioning of the global economy are laid open to discussion.
