Sumario:The discourses on women in education in Colombia in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century referred to the feeling of love. Love naturalizes a certain femininity characterized by motherhood, the care of others, the strength to educate, and household management. These features gave women a key role in the fate of society and at the same time enabled them to regulate their bodies and sexuality.
