Sumario:This paper reviews national and district education policies from 2006 to 2012, regarding primary and secondary education, from the perspective of the virtue of justice for students in public schools in Bogotá. Relationships are established between the postulates of the revised policies and the contributions of political scientist John Rawls about justice; the results of the research presented in this article are significant as they deal with current topics relevant to both the national and city context, where diversity and social inequalities make it necessary to identify mechanisms that contribute to the construction of a just society.
