Sumario:This article purports to develop, in a preliminary manner, some of the main environmental challenges that contemporary society faces. To do so, it broaches the discussion through three points: One, presenting the current tragic state of heritage assets in neo-imperial times, and the closest ideal: eco-neocapitalism. Two, some of the main environmental challenges related to ecocapitalist globalization. Three, the role of academia and new environmental ethics that question both politics and law.
